SANTA MARIA FORIS
In the heart of Ravenna, surrounded by the city’s rich history, Santa Maria Foris offers a unique stay where past and present come together in perfect harmony.
The villa takes its name from the ancient church of Santa Maria in Foris, dating back to 1261. A fragment of the original structure is still visible above the entrance — a symbol of timeless elegance and quiet refinement.
Carefully restored, the villa now welcomes guests into 12 uniquely charming rooms, each furnished with exclusive fabrics and designer pieces that create an atmosphere of intimate sophistication.
Recent enhancements have made the experience even more memorable: an elegant bar for moments of relaxation and a redesigned inner garden that offers a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
Just a short walk away, the pedestrian area of the historic center invites you to explore the treasures of Ravenna.

For us, welcoming you is not just about offering a room — it’s about creating an unforgettable experience, tailored to your needs. WE CARE ABOUT OUR PLANET
We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices that respect the local area and promote responsible hospitality. The property is fully energy self-sufficient, thanks to solar panels installed on the roof. We also partner with companies that share our eco-conscious philosophy, and we are moving steadily toward a completely plastic-free experience. And if that’s not enough — and you’d like to do your part too — you can choose our Green Choice by requesting to suspend linen changes in your room. This small gesture helps us reduce water, detergent, and energy consumption.
